Backyard Astronomy will teach about basic sky facts including constellations, planet identification, and other highlights.
You will also learn how to use the correct tools to look at daytime astronomy and safely look at the sun. During this event, you will also create your own sun-safe viewing device.
Make sure you have the following:
- empty cereal box
- paper towel tube
- mailing tube
- aluminum foil
- duct tape or masking tape
- pushpin
- scissors
- postcard, business card, or notecard
