The Columbus Zoo
The Columbus Zoo is a non-profit zoo located in Columbus, Ohio. Their mission is to lead and inspire by connecting people and wildlife. Visiting the zoo will instantly turn you into animal lover and advocate, if you weren’t already! At the Columbus Zoo, conservation is taken very seriously. $4 million dollars of privately raised funds are devoted to support conservation efforts annually around the world. By providing funds to local conservation leaders, the Columbus Zoo puts this money to work on the ground to advance conservation research, build capacity among local populations, strengthen environmental education and foster behavior change that benefits animals and people.
The Columbus Zoo is a very special place, and we are lucky enough that they are offering virtual events, so everyone can still see the animals while the Zoo remains temporarily closed.
