Bari Zaki Studio
Bari Zaki Studio, based out of Chicago, IL, was founded by Bari Zaki who grew up around a father who was a printer. Her father regularly brought home paper in various forms which she would amuse herself with for hours. Over her life, Bari Zaki evolved from a paper collector to a custom bookbinder and then into a shopkeeper. Bari Zaki has been very successful and in 2016 received a grand commission from the Chicago Cubs to create a one-of-a-kind, two volume commemorative album for their World Series win.
Bari Zaki Studio specializes in both traditional European and Japanese bookbinding techniques. Classes are offered for photo albums, tributes, journals and photography portfolios and more through various different types of stitches.
