Calm the Mind – Guided Meditation
During Calm the Mind, you will learn how to breathe and build the muscles of concentration. You will practice accepting each moment exactly as it is by witnessing thoughts, emotions and sensations as they come and go.
The format for this event is a 5-minute introduction followed by a 30-minute guided meditation and ending with 10-minutes for Q&A with the teacher.
There is a suggested donation of $15.
Izumi Tanka will be guiding this meditation. She has been practicing mindfulness meditation for almost 20 years.
